Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
